Cozy Nights + Romantic Escapes
LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT THESE DREAMY GETAWAYZZZ
Be our Valentine! In honor of this day of LOVE for all (even ourselves!), I have assembled some of the coziest, treat-yourself getaways for couples, BFFs and solo travelers alike! All of these accommodations are designed to offer you the self-love you deserve, with proper pampering, blissful sleep and relaxation.
Some offer a multitude of outdoor adventures, and some are designed for you to simply collapse (maybe have a lot of sex?) and recharge. But they all have one thing in common: They are all about the LOVE…love of details, consideration, originality, hospitality…and love of a great night’s sleep. The thought of a weekend getaway in the mountains or a full week in warm sand sound equally all too wonderful…so why not start planning now?

I am a big Harbour Island person (Bahamas), so one of the choices I made here for the luxe-seeker is the Ocean View Club, which offers uber-chic accommodations overlooking the famous pink sand beach. If you are looking for a slightly more modest but still incredibly stylish vibe in Harbour Island, I can’t recommend The Landing enough, which has been my go-to “home away from home” year on year.
There are 13 stylish rooms (designed by the too-freaking-cool India Hicks), and you’ll enjoy jaw-dropping harbor sunsets, an easy walk to everything in town and the kindest, most fabulous staff you have ever met. If you have not visited Harbour Island, I recommend adding it to your bucket list. It’s a teeny island with an easy-going vibe and the Bahamian people are some of the most gracious humans you will ever meet.

Below is our short-list of romantic, sexy getaways which have either been recommended by dear friends, or we at Bedfully have stayed ourselves and can attest to their unique magic! We hope you check them out one day soon and report back! I love hearing from our readers: sharon@bedfully.com
1. Soundzzz: Waves
The Ocean View Club on Harbor Island is a collection of luxurious beach cottages and rooms right on the famous pink sand beach, a great bar hang and a sweet cat that roams the place. Rooms range from $300-625/night on average.
2. Soundzzz: Big, Big Waves
Recently awarded one Michelin Key by the Michelin guide, friends have said The Hotel San Cristóbal, a Mexican gem on the Baja Peninsula is a “total escape” and “a design-junkie’s dreamland.” Starting around $395/night and up.
3. Soundzzz: Crickets
If you are a New Yorker and looking for a weekend getaway upstate, head up to Hudson Valley, NY and The Inness, a high-designed group of Dutch-inspired cabins and rooms on 225 acres where the landscape is in the starring role. Spa it up, head off to the apple orchards then eat dinner with veggies from their own gardens. On average, King rooms start at $495/night on average.
4. Soundzzz: Howlin’ Wolves, Cooing Bearcubs
If you are the outdoor adventurer type and want to sleep in the woods under the stars (without the bugbites and bear visits in a tent), we are only slightly obsessed with the Postcard Cabins. You have a choice of 24 locations around the U.S., endless outdoor activity options around you and an overall feeling of being one with nature. Rooms are $150-200/night on average.
5. Soundzzz: More Crickets
For some more upstate NY 5-star magic, there is Wildflower Farms which boasts 65 cottages, three miles of trails across 140 acres and yes, wildflowers a-plenty and farm to table dining after you bask in Thistle, the Auberge spa. Rooms are $1000/night on average.
6. Soundzzz: All Manner of Wildlife
And now for a 5-star*, 2-Michelin* decadent Mayan Rainforest experience and voted the #16 Hotel in the World in 2024: The Chablé Yucatan isn’t messing around. If you have oodles of cash to burn on the ultimate luxury experience, we hear this one’s for you. Rooms are around $1400/night for a King, $4000/night for a Casita and can run you $9000/night for a residence during the winter months (you can put your eyeballs back in your head now).
Happy Spread-the-Love Day!

We spend every waking hour thinking about sleep, so you don’t have to.
